Dear Parents,

I’ve worked in a classroom setting long enough to have developed a deep appreciation for how much you do every waking moment. I mean, the sheer number of consequential decisions you have to make on any given day is astounding. Finding enrichment courses for your student(s) is just a tiny corner of that map. You search where they're listed. When you find one your kid might be interested in you have to ask them, see how long the program runs, what times, if it fits into your kids calendar, if there are any friends or classmates with similar interests who are taking it, and if it has any homework, how much, etc. My goal is to make that process as felicitous as possible. My courses are highly flexible, adapted and redesigned for every new iteration.

Imagine approaching Curriculum Enrichment your way. What subject matter would you like to cover? What scheduling is best for your student? Once a week? Twice a week? How long do you need the program to run? Who are the other members of your student’s group? We'll arrange a meeting with all the involved parents (the kids are invited as well!). I’ll ask a few questions about parameters and subject matter and preferred work loads and design a course to those specifics.

Maybe a handful of rising high schoolers want to read The Odyssey so they don’t encounter it cold in Language Arts class next year. Maybe your child and a few classmates have some summer reading assignments to round out after family vacation, but before the school year begins. Maybe your child and a few friends want to start up a Dungeons & Dragons game on Wednesdays after school. These are all prime scenarios for a Journey Learning program, with Suhail as your guide. The only limit is our imagination. I’m here to make it fun, engaging, and edifying for your student - and as easy as I can for you.

When you call me for educational services, you’ll get more than a tutor. You’ll have a seasoned teacher who is also a published author. I will bring every aspect of my expertise to bear on educating your students and getting them excited for the journey of learning. If your or any family you know finds need for such services I hope you’ll think of me and drop a line or pass on my info.
